# Cowboy Review Policy

> At Cowboy, we believe in transparency. Below we explain how product reviews are collected, moderated, and displayed on our website.

1. **How reviews are collected**

  * All product reviews originate from customers who have purchased a Cowboy bike
  * Review invitations are sent to verified customers only e.g. after purchase)
  * Reviews are managed via and independent third-party review platform (Trustpilot, previously Yotpo)
2. **How reviews are displayed**

  * Only product reviews are displayed on cowboy.com. Service reviews (used in Trustpilot's overall company rating) are not included.
  * The average product rating is calculated directly by Trustpilot from all verified product reviews.
  * Reviews are shown as received, without modification, except where content breaches Trustpilot's guidelines (e.g. offensive, illegal, irrelevant).
  * Both positive and negative reviews are published, provided they meet platform terms.
  * Reviews appear either in chronological order or according to Trustpilot's default relevance ranking.
3. **Moderation and authenticity**

  * Reviews are moderated through Trustpilot's fraud detection and guideline checks to ensure authenticity.
  * Reviews may be removed if they:  
    * contain offensive or illegal content,
    * relate to another company/product, or
    * are suspected of being fake or incentivized.
  * Cowboy does not edit review wording, scores, or order beyond Trustpilot's system.
4. **Our commitments**

  * We do not pay or offer incentives in exchange for reviews.
  * We do not selectively hide reviews based on their rating.
  * We investigate reports of suspicious or false reviews in cooperation with Trustpilot.
  * Consumers can report a potentially false review directly on Trustpilot's platform.
5. **Review score**

  * The score shown on cowboy.com always reflects the Trustpilot average of verified product reviews only.
